NEXT STEP MINISTRIES SERVES LORAIN
Next Step Ministries has partnered with Avon Lake Presbyterian Church and Lorain County’s Neighborhood Alliance organization to help meet the needs of the seniors in their community. Neighborhood Alliance has been compassionately caring for Lorain County since 1927, focusing on strengthening the community by helping low-income residents meet their basic needs. Avon Lake Presbyterian Church Provides support and shelter for the over 500 missionaries that participate in our summer program. It was the vision of ALPC to reach out to our neighbors that are otherwise unable to tend to there own needs. We found Nextstep Ministries and after meeting with them Nextstep never looked back. Last summer was a big success and this summer looks to be even Bigger! ALPC housed over 500 misionaries throughout last summer, Allowing them to use the church facilities to eat, sleep, play and worship.

All Saints Camp-Bahamas
Over the past few years ALPC has sent over 150 missionaries to the All Saints Camp in the Bahamas. We feel that going back to the same place every year is beneficial in building trust and relationships with the people that live there. Seeing some of the same people every year makes us feel good, but more importantly it makes the people seeing us even more happy. Sometimes they can get the feeling that the world, or even God has given up on them. We haven't, and of course God never will! In July of 2014 we are sending 50 more misionaries to continue work at All Saints Camp.read more

How God May Be Calling You
Do you Hear Him?
Do you have a feeling deep down inside that you should be helping others instead of just running through life in this fast paced world? Ask yourself if you have found your purpose in life. Are you living for God?
"Consider your own call, brothers and sisters: not many of you were wise by human standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth. But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, things that are not, to reduce to nothing things that are, so that no one might boast in the presence of God. He is the source of your life in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification and redemption, in order that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.” -1 Corinithians 1:26-31read more
