  • Support for Estelí Church in Nicaragua including VBS supplies, books etc.
  • Nicaragua Mission Trip
  • Christmas Joy offering-assists retired PCUSA families and racial ethnic schools and colleges.
  • Church World Services Blanket+ Sunday. Clean sustainable water sources, food sustainability and cottage industries plus disaster relief including- yes blankets.
  • *Cornerstone Pre-School
  • Family Promise of Greater Cleveland. Provides safe housing for families in transition.
  • Genesis House-shelter and care for women and children threatened by violence.
  • Gifts for graduating ALPC seniors
  • Grade XIII gifts for college ALPC students
  • Lorain County Office on Aging which includes Meals on Wheels to communities in Lorain County.
  • Lucy Idol Center. Programs and educations for adults with special needs.
  • One Great Hour of Sharing-Presbytery giving
  • Peace Making Offering (varies each year) Examples: Boys and Girls club, Genesis house, etc.
  • PW Greeting Card Mission, Send notes of support, celebrations etc to church members.
  • Thanksgiving Offering- varies from year to year.
  • Thanksgiving Gifts to people in need. Varies from year to year.
  • PW Emergency meals-to church family members in need.
  • PW “compassion meals” supports grieving families.
  • Neighborhood Alliance including monetary donations and We Care Boxes for Clients.
  • YWCA Elyria-monetary donations for medication, used linens and hygiene products.
  • ALPC youth mission-including donations from Pentecost offering, Presbyterian Women, Deacons-free will offerings
  • Franklin Plaza-donations of gently used, comfortable clothing for recovering and hospice patients.
  • Soldier Care Packages. Items and money(for Shipping)donated, to be sent to military members with connections to ALPC.
  • A variety of bake sales, food sales (soup) Ham sale, etc to earn funds for youth missions and PW missions.
  • PW Rummage sales that: earn money for PW missions, provide low cost items for community members in need and “leftovers” are donated to various places including Goodwill, Salvation army and other church rummage sales.
